What worked for us last year was: One practice per week Two games per week We try to stay away from Fridays. Last year, games ran roughly from 5pm-8pm (this is a broad time frame) 5:00pm for a small practice before the game. Games started at 5:30. Depending on the age group, they ended around 7:30pm We had some away games in Castlegar and Salmo, and home games in BV and Montrose. We ran fall ball from Sept - October We ran Winter indoor skills training. What is new this year: We are hoping to book a field in Trail to start team practices as early as April. We have applied to have two fields at the BV location. (next to the concession and by the arena). As an idea, we will have U15 & U17 in Montrose and U9-U13 in BV. We brought to the planning group the idea of more evenly spreading the games across teams (so you don’t play the same team over and over). We are working on NEW JERSEYS! We are connecting with the Village of Fruitvale to hopefully improve the fields with some help from volunteers
